What is ASK TPC?
ASK TPC is an AI assistant that puts the TPC 2025 course manuals at your fingertips. It allows you to access and explore the content in a conversational way, making it quicker and easier to get answers to payroll-related questions.
Do I need to be a technical or AI expert to use ASK TPC?
No. There’s no technical expertise required. It’s designed to feel natural and intuitive to use.
How do I ask effective questions?
To get the best results:
- Be specific and include context
Instead of “What about overtime?”, try:
“How do I calculate overtime pay for an employee who worked 45 hours this week and earns €25 per hour?” - Use real scenarios
For example:
“An employee started maternity leave on March 15th and wants to return part-time. What are their entitlements and my obligations?”
(No need to include real names or company details.) - Break down complex questions
Example:
*“I have three questions about sick leave:- What’s the minimum statutory sick pay?
- Can I require a medical certificate after 3 days?
- How does it interact with annual leave?”*
What types of questions can I ask?
Anything covered within the TPC 2025 course manuals. If you’d normally reach for your manual, it’s exactly the type of question ASK TPC is built for.
Is answering questions all it can do?
No. ASK TPC can also:
- Draft email responses
- Simplify or expand explanations
- Reformat information (e.g. bullet points into tables)
It’s designed to act as a co-worker, not just a search tool.
Does it get everything right?
No system is perfect. While ASK TPC is highly reliable, it may occasionally make mistakes. Always review responses before using them.
What if a response seems incomplete or unclear?
You can ask follow-ups, just like you would with a colleague:
- “Can you explain that in more detail?”
- “Is that everything I need to know?”
You can also explore further questions based on its response.
Are there any limitations I should know about?
Yes. ASK TPC only uses information from the TPC 2025 course manuals. It does not access previous manuals or external sources.
Can ASK TPC give legal advice?
No. You should not rely on ASK TPC for legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for complex or sensitive matters.
Do I need to include real employee or company names?
No. Avoid entering sensitive personal or company information. It’s not needed for accurate responses.
All data entered remains within our secure environment and is not shared externally.
Why aren’t responses instant?
ASK TPC gathers relevant information, processes your question, and checks its response before replying. More complex questions may take slightly longer.
Are my conversations used to train AI models?
No. Your queries are not used to train or improve AI models.
However, conversations may be reviewed to monitor and improve ASK TPC performance.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored within the EU.
Are all browsers supported?
ASK TPC works best on Chrome and Firefox.
It will work on other browsers, but performance may vary.
Does ASK TPC meet GDPR requirements?
Yes. The system is designed with GDPR compliance in mind, including data minimisation, encryption, and user rights.
Why might I get different answers to the same question?
ASK TPC generates unique responses each time. The wording may vary, but the underlying information from the TPC 2025 manuals remains consistent.
Can I ask follow-up questions?
Yes. ASK TPC is designed for ongoing conversations—ask as many follow-ups as you need.
Can I copy responses into emails or documents?
Yes. You can:
- Copy and paste responses directly
- Ask ASK TPC to draft emails or formal content
Just ensure you review everything for accuracy before using it.
Is there a limit to how many questions I can ask?
There’s no set limit during the free trial, but a fair usage policy applies.
What if ASK TPC contradicts training or advice I’ve received?
If something doesn’t seem right, seek guidance from a qualified expert.
ASK TPC is based only on the 2025 IPASS manual and does not include all training materials.
What does ASK TPC cost?
The current launch version is free to use.
You’ll be notified in advance of any future pricing changes.
